Beautiful

If you want to know anything about Muslim style, my friend D has the hijabi married girl cultural yet stylish hook-up.
Her sister-in-law T has the best words for comfort, "I looked at you and wondered how to become more slim."
D's mom said, "You look beautiful but gosh don't you eat?"


B-E-A-U-T-I-F-U-L is something I forget, cannot or don't want to be.
With non-mahram family members living with me, it's a challenge to dress or doll up.
And with a mother-in-law who is an indoor hijabi too (she covers her hair even in front of her husband most of the time), I don't even show my hair to her.

The other day my sister-in-law mentioned it's haram to wear make-up in front of other guys. Time to put away my eyeliners. I know it's for the best but sometimes I almost want to say, well should I wear my make-up to bed? (To impress my husband.)

Privacy is a luxury for some. And yet I tell myself if I lived on my own I wouldn't have dressed up that much anyways :) I shouldn't think about those things. When you're married it's easier to take attraction for granted, although your spouse should be the first and most important person you dress up for.
